Designed by the renowned Italian design house Pininfarina, the luxury hybrid SUV’s exterior lines adopt a minimalist design philosophy that extends to every detail, from the box-shaped style and the large blacked-out grille to the 20-inch all-black wheels matched to ‘All Terrain’ tires, resulting in a striking look that is both rugged and refined.

Aside from the eye-catching exterior palette, the Y-shaped LED headlights, and the full-size externally mounted spare tire, the ROX 01 has a very imposing presence, thanks to its large proportions. It is 5,295 mm long, 1,980 mm wide, and 1,869 mm tall, with a generous 3,010 mm long wheelbase. These dimensions are more than enough to support a six or seven seat layout.

Step inside the ROX 01, and you will be greeted by softer-padded surfaces and premium materials, including full-grain Nappa leather upholstery and brushed aluminum. The build quality is second to none and the materials used are one step above anything you would find in a comparable Chinese vehicle. The well-crafted cabin features a floating 15.7-inch Tesla-inspired infotainment display with 3k resolution, along with a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch rear entertainment display that folds down from the ceiling. The high-performance air conditioning system ensures a refreshing drive, while the multi-language human-machine interface keeps you connected and in control.

Considering its size, it is no surprise that the ROX 01 offers a spacious three-row SUV configuration, available in either six or seven seats, providing ample room for passengers and cargo alike. The front seats come standard with heating, ventilation, and massage functions, while the driver’s seat has a 14-way power adjustment, and the passenger’s seat has a 10-way power adjustment. Both the six- and seven-seat versions feature captain-type seats, with the six-seater boasting aviation-style seats with 12-way electric adjustment, compared to 8-way adjustment in the seven-seater.

Under the hood, the all-new ROX 01 debuts with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that acts as a range extender driving a pair of electric motors with 469 hp and 740 Nm. The premium SUV can hit 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 190 km/h, and has a 56 kWh battery pack giving it an all-electric range of 235 km on the WLTP test cycle. With the range extender in action, the ROX 01 can travel up to 1,115 km.

The premium off-roader is designed to conquer unpaved paths with ease. It boasts a 700 mm wading depth, a 22.2-degree approach angle, a 25.1-degree departure angle, and can navigate a cross-shaft up to 600 mm. There are also several off-road dedicated modes, including Snow, Rock, Mud, Sand, and Wade, ensuring optimal performance in diverse terrains.
